Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and assist with locating products.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Process various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and price adjustments with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Keep the checkout counter, bags, and surrounding area clean and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor and assist in restocking as needed.
- Uphold store policies and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in retail or cash handling is a plus but not required.
- Strong math skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
