Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately ring up customer purchases using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and debit payments with precision.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and resolve any concerns or complaints professionally.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with bags, receipt paper, and promotional materials.
- Merchandising: Assist in maintaining product displays, organizing shelves, and ensuring the sales floor meets company standards.
- Payment Handling: Count drawers accurately at the start and end of shifts, balance cash registers, and reconcile daily sales reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money with high accuracy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
