Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
- Efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Bag merchandise neatly and arrange the sales floor to maintain an organized and appealing display.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide product information with confidence.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workspace.
- Accurately count cash drawers at the start and end of shifts to ensure financial accountability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash and make change quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
