Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict adherence to cash handling policies.
- Assist with inventory stocking, shelf organization, and store maintenance to ensure a clean shopping environment.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
- Monitor the checkout area for lost items and assist in loss prevention efforts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or cash handling is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
