Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing sales, returns, and exchanges with 100% accuracy.
- Greet all customers warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Accurately handle cash, credit, and check payments, and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing detailed information about our merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area and sales floor.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock needs replenishment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills with the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
