Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while maintaining accurate drawers.
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with bags and questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area throughout your shift.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing the sales floor when not at the register.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and loss prevention.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable access to a vehicle for commuting.
