Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Greet every customer with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product locations, pricing, and store policies with confidence.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and cash register balancing.
- Assist in maintaining the visual appearance of the sales floor by organizing displays and keeping the checkout area tidy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
