Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs and inquiries.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and process transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments, ensuring all register drawer counts match at the end of the shift.
- Bag groceries and prepare orders for pickup or delivery with care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area throughout your shift.
- Assist with inventory stocking and price tagging as needed.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions regarding store policies and product locations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency.
