Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments with strict adherence to company security and accountability protocols.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical aptitude and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and POS systems.
