Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance with a smile.
- Handle cash and card payments with strict accuracy and responsibility.
- Bag merchandise and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Assist with inventory stocking and shelf organization during slow periods.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash transactions with high attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
