Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our state-of-the-art POS system
- Provide outstanding customer service with a warm, authentic New Orleans welcome
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Handle cash, card, and mobile payments securely while balancing daily receipts
- Resolve customer inquiries with patience and product knowledge
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash
