Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining accuracy
- Provide outstanding service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precise reconciliation
- Bag groceries and assist with carryout services for elderly/disabled customers
- Maintain clean checkout areas and organized product displays
- Collaborate with stockers to ensure front-end shelves remain fully stocked
- Participate in inventory counts and loss prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year customer service or retail experience preferred
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
