Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Deliver exceptional customer service through friendly greetings and efficient checkout assistance
- Operate scanning equipment and handle returns/exchanges per company policy
- Bag merchandise carefully while offering upsell opportunities to enhance customer value
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and assist with restocking as needed
- Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Participate in inventory counts and merchandising tasks during shift downtime
Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong basic math skills and comfort handling cash/credit transactions
