Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume transactions with 99.9% accuracy while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Train junior staff on POS systems, cash handling protocols, and loss prevention techniques
- Resolve complex customer inquiries and disputes with professionalism and empathy
- Conduct daily cash reconciliation and report discrepancies to management
- Monitor inventory levels for high-value items and escalate shortages immediately
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining customer trust
- Maintain organized workstation and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of cashier experience with proven cash handling accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in modern POS systems (e.g., Square, Shopify POS)
