Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area at all times.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments with strict adherence to company security protocols.
- Bag merchandise properly and assist with loading items into customers' vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure shelves are stocked and displays are appealing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
