Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system.
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and provide exceptional customer service.
- Bag items neatly and ensure the checkout area is always tidy and organized.
- Assist with inventory stocking, price tagging, and visual merchandising as needed.
- Handle cash and card payments with strict adherence to company security and accountability protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for all customers and staff.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Friendly, approachable, and reliable work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
