As a Barista at Bean & Brew, you will be the face of our brand. You will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of beverages and food items, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring every customer has a memorable experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and seasonal specials, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process orders, process payments, and handle customer inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain a pristine and organized work area, including sanitizing equipment, cleaning counters, and restocking supplies throughout the shift.
- Engage with customers warmly to provide recommendations, answer questions, and build lasting relationships.
- Assist with food preparation and service as required, adhering to all food safety and health regulations.
- Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and cash handling.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation and availability for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and order preparation.
- A genuine passion for coffee and a willingness to learn brewing techniques.
