Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages including espresso, lattes, and pour-overs
- Engage warmly with customers, taking accurate orders and providing product recommendations
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of coffee station, equipment, and customer areas
- Manage inventory restocking and uphold food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless service
- Process payments and operate POS systems efficiently
- Participate in ongoing coffee training and seasonal menu launches
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and flavor profiles
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
