Responsibilities
- Walk & Exercise: Safely walk and exercise dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they get the physical activity they need.
- Pet Care: Monitor pet behavior during walks to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain Hygiene: Immediately clean up waste and maintain a clean environment for both pets and clients.
- Communication: Provide daily updates and photos to pet parents via our app.
- Record Keeping: Accurately log walk times, locations, and any observations about the pet's health or mood.
- First Aid: Apply basic first aid knowledge if an emergency situation arises.
Qualifications
- Passion for Animals: A genuine love for dogs and a patient, friendly demeanor.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable Transportation: Your own vehicle is required to transport to different neighborhoods.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk up to 5 miles per day.
- Experience: Prior dog walking experience is a plus, but not required due to our paid training program.
- Availability: Must be available for shifts during morning, midday, or evening hours.
