Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and foot patrols to deter criminal activity
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Access control management for employees and visitors during overnight hours
- Prepare detailed incident reports using digital security platforms
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when required
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors and communication devices
- Conduct perimeter checks and secure access points before closing
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year security experience or equivalent military/law enforcement background
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and work independently
- Strong observational skills and crisis response capabilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic proficiency with security software and reporting tools
- Fluent English communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
