Responsibilities

  • Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure a safe environment.
  • Surveillance Operations: Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels in the Control Room, identifying and responding to any irregularities or breaches.
  • Access Control: Verify credentials at entry points, manage visitor logs, and issue access badges to authorized personnel.
  • Incident Reporting: Document all incidents, irregularities, and emergency situations in the security logbook or digital management system.
  • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, fire threats, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
  • Client Communication: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients, employees, and visitors on-site.

Qualifications

  • License: Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License (State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services).
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
