Responsibilities
- Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure a safe environment.
- Surveillance Operations: Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels in the Control Room, identifying and responding to any irregularities or breaches.
- Access Control: Verify credentials at entry points, manage visitor logs, and issue access badges to authorized personnel.
- Incident Reporting: Document all incidents, irregularities, and emergency situations in the security logbook or digital management system.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, fire threats, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
- Client Communication: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients, employees, and visitors on-site.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License (State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background screening and drug test.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform patrols and stand for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work rotating night shifts.
