Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions every 2 hours
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Document patient observations in electronic health records (EHR)
- Respond to emergency calls using rapid response protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with equipment setup
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians on care plans
- Stock and maintain supply stations on assigned units
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Proficient with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
