Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and mobility assistance
- Assist nurses with clinical procedures and documentation
- Monitor patient status and report changes to medical staff
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment sterilization protocols
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Document patient activities accurately in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Current CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during night shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer proficiency for medical documentation
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight hours
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
