Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, appointments, and care plans during evening and weekend hours
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Facilitate seamless communication between patients, families, and clinical teams
- Handle administrative duties including billing verification and insurance processing
- Provide exceptional customer service while resolving patient inquiries
- Assist with emergency response protocols during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with on-call physicians to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years healthcare administration or patient care experience
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech knowledge a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs during evenings/weekends
- Basic medical terminology knowledge required
