Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for next-day procedures
- Respond to patient call lights and address immediate needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams during shift transitions
- Maintain sterile environments following infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during shift
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs with proper technique
- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts
