Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in EMR systems
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily care routines
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing procedures
- Collaborate with RNs to implement patient care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond to patient alarms and emergency situations
- Accurately complete shift handovers and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR/BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend night shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
