Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions every 2 hours during night shifts
- Assist nurses with patient care activities including mobility support and hygiene
- Respond to emergency call lights and patient requests promptly
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for next-day procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT license preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in acute setting
- Strong ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Valid BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
