Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Respond to patient calls and provide timely assistance during night hours
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
- Perform safety checks and emergency response procedures
- Support admission/discharge processes for night shift patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or patient care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during night shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail in documentation and care delivery
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
