Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing and mobility
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain a safe, clean environment through regular room checks
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and emergency situations
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not mandatory
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable transportation to various Indianapolis locations
