Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during evening/weekend shifts
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests in a fast-paced setting
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and triage during peak nighttime hours
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide compassionate patient education for diverse populations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) or graduate from accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory/hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Ability to work independently during low-staffed night shifts
- Excellent communication skills with multilingual ability a plus
- Flexibility to cover variable evening/weekend schedules
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
