Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during overnight shifts
- Perform vital sign checks and administer medications per physician orders
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and exam rooms
- Document patient information accurately in EHR systems
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide basic patient education
- Monitor patients overnight and report any changes in condition
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a medical setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work variable overnight shifts
