Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patron assistance with circulation services, resource navigation, and technology support
- Curate and organize library materials using advanced cataloging systems and preservation techniques
- Develop and implement engaging community outreach programs for diverse age groups
- Manage digital resources including e-books, databases, and multimedia platforms
- Coordinate interlibrary loan services and collection development initiatives
- Maintain accurate records using integrated library management systems
- Facilitate technology workshops and digital literacy training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Library Science preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in educational or cultural institutions
- Proficiency in library management systems (e.g., Sierra, Koha)
- Advanced knowledge of digital resources and research methodologies
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities across diverse populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for outreach program support
