Responsibilities
- Manage daily circulation desk operations including check-outs, returns, and renewals
- Assist patrons with research, digital resources, and catalog navigation
- Organize and maintain library collections through shelving and inventory management
- Plan and execute engaging community programs for diverse age groups
- Provide exceptional customer service to resolve inquiries and promote library resources
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and outreach initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of library materials and patron interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; library science coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or library experience
- Proficiency with digital tools and library management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Valid Arizona driver's license (for outreach programs)
