What You Will Do:
- Assist patrons with finding materials and navigating our digital databases.
- Shelve and organize library collections using the Dewey Decimal System.
- Check materials in and out, and process new arrivals efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized library environment.
- Answer general inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with locating books, periodicals, and digital resources.
- Shelve and organize library materials according to the Dewey Decimal System.
- Check materials in and out using library management software.
- Perform basic computer maintenance and troubleshoot patron devices.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized environment.
- Answer telephone inquiries and direct visitors to appropriate staff.
- Process new book acquisitions and inter-library loans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and typing speed of 35+ WPM.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Valid driverβs license is a plus.
