Responsibilities
- Manage digital and physical cataloging systems using ALA standards
- Deliver specialized research support to academic and public patrons
- Oversee interlibrary loan operations with regional library networks
- Develop and execute community literacy programs
- Maintain archival collections with preservation best practices
- Train patrons on digital resources and research databases
- Collaborate with curatorial teams on special collections projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) from ALA-accredited program
- 3+ years experience in academic or special library environments
- Advanced proficiency in ILS systems (e.g., Sierra, Koha)
- Specialized training in archival preservation techniques
- Proven experience developing educational outreach programs
- Strong bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish preferred)
- Experience with grant-funded literacy initiatives
