Responsibilities
- Execute flawless espresso extraction and specialty beverage preparation with precision
- Mentor junior baristas on coffee techniques, customer service excellence, and inventory management
- Develop and implement innovative seasonal drink menus featuring local ingredients
- Train staff on coffee bean origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methodologies
- Maintain pristine café standards while managing daily operations during peak hours
- Build lasting relationships with discerning clientele through personalized service
- Collaborate with roasting team on quality control and sourcing decisions
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with advanced espresso certification
- Portfolio demonstrating competitive latte art skills and beverage innovation
- Proven leadership experience in high-volume café environments
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to upscale premium service
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Food Handler's certification and ServSafe preferred
