Responsibilities
- Master espresso extraction techniques and develop seasonal beverage menus
- Train and mentor junior baristas on coffee craftsmanship and customer service
- Manage daily inventory control and quality assurance protocols
- Lead peak-hour operations while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Collaborate with management on shop improvements and marketing initiatives
- Curate customer relationships through personalized coffee recommendations
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional barista experience with advanced espresso skills
- Proven leadership experience in food/beverage service
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food handling credentials
- Expert knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic POS system proficiency and cash management experience
