Responsibilities
- Execute intricate espresso extraction and specialty brewing techniques to perfection
- Lead barista team through daily operations, inventory management, and quality control
- Develop seasonal menu innovations featuring local Nebraska ingredients
- Train staff on advanced latte art and customer engagement protocols
- Maintain pristine café environment and equipment maintenance standards
- Drive customer loyalty through personalized beverage recommendations
- Collaborate with roasting team on bean sourcing and profiling
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with advanced latte art certification
- Expertise in espresso calibration and flavor profiling
- Proven leadership skills in fast-paced service environments
- Knowledge of single-origin brewing methods (V60, Chemex, AeroPress)
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
