Responsibilities
- Execute espresso extraction and latte art with precision
- Train and mentor junior baristas on brewing techniques
- Source and present seasonal coffee selections
- Develop innovative seasonal beverage menus
- Manage inventory of premium coffee beans
- Deliver personalized customer consultations
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and safety standards
- Collaborate with pastry chefs on pairings
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience
- Sage R200 certification or equivalent
- Latte art competition experience preferred
- Knowledge of global coffee origins
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work high-volume shifts
- Food safety certification
- Basic inventory management skills
