Responsibilities
- Execute specialty coffee brewing with precision using espresso machines, pour-over methods, and batch brewing systems
- Train and mentor junior baristas on beverage recipes, customer service standards, and inventory management
- Develop seasonal menu innovations featuring locally sourced ingredients
- Manage daily operations including cash handling, inventory reconciliation, and equipment maintenance
- Curate exceptional customer experiences through personalized beverage recommendations and hospitality
- Collaborate with roasters to develop signature house blends and single-origin offerings
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional barista experience with advanced latte art certification
- Expert knowledge of coffee origin, flavor profiles, and brewing science
- Proven leadership ability in fast-paced service environments
- Food Handler's and TABC certification required
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory software
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
