Responsibilities
- Expertly craft specialty coffee beverages using espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Train and mentor new baristas on coffee techniques, product knowledge, and service standards
- Manage daily café operations including inventory, cash handling, and equipment maintenance
- Develop seasonal beverage menus and promotional campaigns
- Build genuine relationships with regular customers and create memorable experiences
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with management to optimize workflow and customer flow
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with advanced espresso skills
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Proven leadership ability with experience training staff
- Exceptional customer service skills with a warm, engaging personality
- Ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
- Food Handler's certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
