Responsibilities
- Execute specialty coffee preparation using premium beans and advanced equipment
- Mentor junior baristas on brewing techniques and customer service excellence
- Develop seasonal beverage menus featuring local ingredients
- Manage inventory and maintain pristine cafe standards
- Train staff on sustainable coffee sourcing practices
- Handle customer inquiries with product knowledge and warmth
- Collaborate with pastry chefs on food-coffee pairings
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional barista experience with espresso mastery
- SCA certification or equivalent coffee credentials
- Proven leadership skills in fast-paced service environments
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasts, and brewing methods
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- Food safety certification preferred
