Responsibilities
- Master espresso extraction, latte art, and specialty brewing techniques while maintaining quality standards
- Train and mentor junior baristas on menu knowledge, equipment operation, and customer service excellence
- Manage daily inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, and supplies to ensure optimal freshness
- Develop seasonal drink specials and participate in community events representing the brand
- Oversee cleanliness of all coffee equipment and maintain a pristine workspace
- Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and upsell premium products
- Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with advanced espresso certification
- Proven ability to create complex beverages including latte art, pour-overs, and cold brew
- Strong leadership skills with experience training new staff
- Exceptional multitasking abilities in high-volume environments
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
