What you'll do:
Drive the architectural vision for our core LLM platforms and ensure high availability at scale. You will be the guardian of our data pipelines, optimizing them for speed and accuracy in real-time environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Lead the end-to-end design of scalable AI/ML systems, focusing on LLMs, RAG pipelines, and reinforcement learning environments.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Research Implementation: Translate theoretical research into production-ready code, ensuring best practices in software engineering are met.
- System Optimization: Oversee the optimization of model inference and training pipelines to reduce latency and cost significantly.
- Strategic Planning: Define the 2026 technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends like Quantum Computing integration and Edge AI.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to deliver features that exceed user expectations.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a Lead or Architect role within AI/ML.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow).
- LLM Knowledge: Proven experience building, fine-tuning, and deploying Large Language Models.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong proficiency in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems with elegant technical solutions.
