Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior talent in future-tech methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation, product strategy, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching future-focused products (post-2025)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
