Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, market disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to inform 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Develop and implement foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum) into commercial offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, conferences, and media engagements
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organizational culture of anticipatory innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile innovation environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
- Strong network with futurist communities and tech innovation ecosystems
