Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to shipping requirements and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate stock records using RF scanners.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any safety issues or maintenance needs immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment by organizing storage areas and removing debris.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and shipping manifests, with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- License: Valid driver's license (Class C) is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Attendance: Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for team success.
