Responsibilities
- Manage guest registration, check-in, and credential verification at event entrances
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve attendee inquiries promptly
- Oversee venue setup, signage placement, and operational readiness
- Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures during events
- Coordinate with vendors, security teams, and event management staff
- Execute crowd control measures and maintain orderly flow of attendees
- Assist with post-event breakdown and venue restoration
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old with valid government-issued photo ID
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with short notice
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours) in various weather conditions
- Previous event/conference/hospitality experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures
- Reliable transportation to event locations across Charlotte
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
