Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using hand trucks and forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare orders for shipment by accurately packing items and labeling packages.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and perform minor maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Stock Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and accessible for efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Equipment: Forklift certification is a plus but training can be provided.
