Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Inventory Control: Assist in counting stock, scanning items, and updating inventory records accurately.
- Order Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick and pack customer orders to meet delivery deadlines.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper packaging standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in counting and recording data.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
